Inverse is once again outfitting the Alp-Cerdanya Cycle Tour, the unmissable international cycling event.

La marcha cicloturista Alp-Cerdanya Cycle Tour

The sixth edition of the Alp-Cerdanya Cycle Tour, which has become a must for Spanish and international cycling enthusiasts, will take place on 25 July 2021.

The sixth edition of the international Alp-Cerdanya Cycle Tour is a non-competitive race that runs through the spectacular Catalan region of the Cerdanya, located in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees, enabling riders to discover the magic of the enormous valley where the event takes place.

After the pandemic in 2020, in 2021 the organisers of the Alp-Cerdanya Cycle Tour are restoring the longest route, and the three routes return: Sport 84 km (1,171 m elevation gain), Medial 138 km (2,549 m elevation gain) and Endurance 179 km (3,486 m elevation gain), so that as many cyclists as possible can enjoy this extraordinary ride according to their own goals and characteristics. Each of the three routes is along roads that generally have little traffic, and are generally secondary roads.

This cycling tour is committed to providing the maximum sports and health safeguards. In order to protect participants from the outset, the organisers are offering an insurance policy providing a refund of 70% of the registration fees for cyclists registering in recent weeks if the cycle tour is postponed due to COVID-19 without any expenses, which will be taken care of by the organisers.

If you haven’t visited the Cerdanya, you really should; and if you have, you always want to go back, to put your feet on the pedals and enjoy its jaw-dropping landscapes. The Cerdanya is a paradise for cyclists, as it is an entirely natural territory that is divided into two parts: the Higher Cerdanya, which is part of the French region of Languedoc-Roussillon (Northern Catalonia), where the town of Llívia is located; and the Lower Cerdanya, in Catalonia, which is divided between the provinces of Girona and Lleida.

Catalonia’s part of the Cerdanya region is formed by the high valley of the Segre river, which is where the largest plain in the Pyrenees and the mountainous area of the Cadí and Moixeró mountains, among other massifs, are located. It is bordered to the north by France and Andorra; to the west by the Alt Urgell region; to the south by the Berguedà region, and to the east, by the Ripollès region. Entry includes the Inverse 2021 souvenir jersey

Once again this year, Inverse has decided to become the official supplier of the Alp-Cerdanya Cycle Tour and to design and manufacture the jersey commemorating the sixth edition in 2021. The new design, in which the mustard and green tones typical of the Pyrenean landscape predominate, provides cyclists with all the comfort of Inverse technology applied to sports fabrics.

The Alp-Cerdanya Cycle Tour jersey is made of a technical fabric with excellent breathability, which is ideal for dealing with hot days, and contains microfibres that provide elasticity, resistance and softness when in contact with the skin. It features hidden seams, sleeves that adjust perfectly to the arm’s anatomy and provide protection from the sun, an anatomical collar design, and a waist with an elastic waistband and inner silicone. The jersey is included in the entry fee, and is given to all participants in their competitor’s bag.
