What is BELOO, and why is it revolutionary?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Beloo is the first mobile safety app for cyclists<\/a><\/strong>. It notifies nearby vehicles of each cyclist’s location in real time, through apps including Waze, Social Drive, DGT3.0, Andorra’s App Mobilitat. Work is in progress on integrations with other major browsers on the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beloo also aims to create the first cyclists’ assistance community<\/strong>, which you can ask for help in case of emergency (a fall, illness or breakdown) and use to report incidents on the road, among other features, including tracking by your contacts, and 112 emergency calls with a GPS location, and the new emergency medical details function which can be linked to QR-SOS stickers you can stick on your helmet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does the technology behind Beloo work?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Beloo records the cyclist’s location in real time <\/strong>and sends it to navigation systems, alerting drivers that you are on the road. This all happens in a matter of seconds, without the cyclist having to do anything other than enable the app and start pedalling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beloo is totally free, <\/strong>but there is a premium version with discounts in more than 100 stores, brands, hotels, travel, bike fittings<\/strong>… as well as an assistance\/transfer service covering up to 200 km from home if your bicycle has problems.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
